About Sedation

Anesthesia

Having oral surgery treatment can bring additional stress to many patients who are fearful of dental procedures. We offer several sedation options, and after consulting with our surgeon the best approach can be decided.

Local Anesthesia

An anesthetic is gently injected near the treatment area, causing numbing and lack of sensation.

Nitrous Oxide

Commonly known as laughing gas.

Intravenous Sedation

Also called twilight sleep – this technique produces a state of relaxation making you sleepy but still able to respond, even though you will likely not remember anything afterwards.
